Is there a risk that video streaming might corrupt my computer system?

No. Your video and second website are completely independent and never touch your own internal computer system.

Is there a limit to the number of video showings per month?

Yes, limit is 10,000 per month. There will be an additional charge for more showings, especially if email is used extensively, because special consultation and technology will be required to guide you and NNN.TV around federal spamming regulations.

Will my video play on all computers?     On phones? On tablets?

Yes. Windows and Mac. InternetExplorer, Firefox, Safari and Chrome. YouTube and Facebook. BlackBerries, Droids, iPhones and iPads.  Online, CD and hard drive.

Your video is in H264 format, so it plays on all major digital devices. (This is NOT Flash, which is slow, older technology and prohibited on iPhones and iPads.)

Will my video play on YouTube?             On Facebook?

Yes, NNN.TV puts your video on YouTube. accessed by your company name and/or brand name in the YouTube search engine. It flows to all Internet-connected computers, smart phones and tablets.

Your video can even be watched in full-screen high-definition on television sets when connected to cable TV carrying the YouTube channel.

NNN.TV always produces and delivers your video in YouTube format because it is the best all-purpose web video format available. It knows (‘sniffs’) the viewer’s receiving device and connection speed, and then configures that particular showing for the optimum screen size, dpi resolution and band width.

YouTube is always state-of-the-art and ultra-efficient, even as internet technology is changing every month, so your video is kept current every day the year without any involvement on your part.

Will my video play in emails?

Yes. It is technically possible to design an email campaign so that your video will start playing immediately, right in the email message, when recipients the email. However, that’s impolite, intrusive, risks offending prospects, and may slow email opening.

It is preferable to simply place a button in the email so that the video plays only when the recipient is ready and requests it. You get several buttons included in the base price, in different types and sizes.

A common button – you see them all over the web – is a video screen (first frame showing and ready to go) with a forward start arrow ... when anyone clicks the arrow, the video starts.

You can buy email lists and use your video in targeted campaigns managed either by you or the list company.

You should also incorporate a hot link into the standard email signature line for everyone in your company, such as ‘See our 1-minute video.’

How will I know who is watching?

Even though your video appears on search engines and is sent to email lists, you won’t know how many people actually opened the video website and/or actually watched the video within it unless you have audited tracking statistics.

On the first day of every month, at NNN.TV’s expense, 1and1, an independent internet tracking service, will email a statistical report to you for the preceding month showing how many unique visitors came to your video website, with break-out detail by day, time, referral site, etc.

Also, NNN.TV will provide you with a link to YouTube statistics that show how many people watched the video-only part.

How does NNN.TV help me with SEO?

NNN.TV engages in constant unseen technical communication with search engines in the form of notifications, site maps, titles, meta tags and meta descriptions.

NNN.TV builds your second website so that all words on the page are ‘bait’ for search engine spiders and robots. The main page (the ‘index,’ the one with the video) typically has about 200 words on it, which is the ideal word size that spiders and robots like to read, and each picture has a hidden relevant title they take into account.

The search computers are smart enough to put the words, phrases and titles together – noting consistency, repetition and relevance – to make a good characterization of what your second website is offering, and thus serve it up in on-target results lists.

This basic SEO (search engine optimization) is included in the package price.

How do I get on Google page one?

NNN.TV gets you listed on all major search engines, but cannot assure your position on results lists.

If someone enters your company name and/or brand name, you’ll probably be on page one of the results list.

But if they enter your broad product category (e.g., cameras or insurance), your video probably won’t be found at all because so many pages will be ahead of you on the list; people will rarely go that deep.

In natural search, as contrasted to paid search, Google lists sites in order of the number of people who go there, on the theory that the most useful sites are the most popular sites for that particular word or phrase.

Usually you have to be big with lot’s of Internet activity to be listed in a prominent natural search position for common terms, and it often takes a long time to work your way toward the top.

If you want your video to be on page one of the search results for your particular words or phrases, you may need to pay for position, under a program Google calls AdWords, which displays a four-line headline-description-link for your video at either the top of the left-hand results column or somewhere in the right-hand results column.

You pay Google only if someone clicks on your ad. Cost varies considerably depending on the words and phrases you need, but typically about a dollar a click.

Most successful Internet marketers use Google AdWords. You don’t pay for wasted coverage. The only people who click your ad will be people looking for the product or service you offer. By setting a daily budget with Google, you can throttle how many prospects you want per day.

You can set up your own Google AdWords account at www.google.com/ads/adwords. Or, for $85/hour labor charge, NNN.TV will set it up for you, coach you on how best to use it, and/or manage it for you.

How do I get listed in online directories?

In the past, people relied heavily on the printed Yellow Pages phone directory to find local merchants and service providers.

Now people go to Google on their computers or cell phones. They enter the name of the needed product/service and city, and immediately they get a hot-linked list of businesses in that category and geographic area.

If you are a local business, directories are important. If you are a national business, directories are probably not important.

It is not always necessary for a prospect to go directly to directory sites. Often the sites are integrated into search engines so that an entry into a search engine for a particular product/service/city will bring up appropriate directory listings.

The most popular online directories are Google Maps, Yellowpages, Yahoo Local, Bing Ask, Superpages and Switchboard. You can go online and register by yourself; fees are modest. Or, for $85/ hour labor charge, NNN.TV will set you up on the major directories covering your area.

Q & A about video

Q & A about second website

Q & A about hosting / SEO / tracking

Can I do anything I want with my video?

Yes. You get a copy on DVD for perpetual use at any time, in any way.

You can give give the DVD to your webmaster for embedding the video into your main website, at any page, position or size you want, and for embedding or linking it into your emails, particularly into your signature lines.

You can load the DVD to the hard drive of your laptop for showing when Internet connection is not available: for example, meeting with a prospect at a restaurant for lunch, showing by projector at a sales meeting, or looping continuously in a kiosk at a trade show.

Can I incorporate my own photos, diagrams, clips and text?

Yes. The more good pictures and proven phrases you have, the better. To the extent you don’t have enough visuals of your own, NNN.TV will fill in with stock photos and graphics (no additional cost).

The video will be built with concepts, pictures and words that are working well for you. The objective is not to tell a new story, but to tell your successful story more succinctly to more prospects.

Why animation instead of a talking-head camera movie?

Good video is very expensive ... staging, lighting, actor,  videographer, editor. Poor quality can hurt more than help. Unless you have a large budget, animation is the most cost-effective way to produce audio-visual. About half of all advertising on television is animation. Most people don’t consciously distinguish between camera and animation. Either method, or combination of methods, is equally acceptable.

Poor camera video can be distracting, causing prospects to look at people and objects rather than focus on key selling points. With animation, the photos, text and graphics move on screen to give the effect of a movie but with better focus on content. With animation, production costs are low, and changes can be made easily.

Of course, if you have some good movie clips –even a few seconds here or there from a home video camera or phone camera – NNN.TV can incorporate them into your Internet video.

I already have a website. Why do I need a second one?

Having a main website is essential, but not enough today. Your site doesn’t do any good for prospects who don’t even know you exist ... or who have never been motivated to visit your site ... or who can’t find your site because you are listed too far down in search results. Your Internet video and second website is a strategy to get you found and to drive traffic to your main site, or to your phone or email.

Most main sites are silent, static, wordy, boring and often confusing. People don’t want to wade through a site unless first convinced that they’ll find something there that they really need. Their perspective is:

‘In plain simple language, preferably with sound and motion, just tell me what you’re offering, concisely, and then if I’m interested I’ll go to your site for detail.’

Your video site sets them up, and leads them to, your main site, where they then get detail and/or place an order.

Also, you can embed your video into your main website, to make it more dynamic, interesting and persuasive.

Answers to the following five questions provide five reasons why you should have a second website:

How will search engines find my video?

From this answer, you learn the first reason why you need a second website: so search engines can find you.

Over two-thirds of all searches on the Internet are made through Google. All references to search engines here refer specifically to Google, but be aware that Bing, Yahoo, and dozens of other search engines act in essentially the same way.

Google is constantly crawling the web with spiders and robots which follow web links and pick out key words and phrases from web pages, index the pages in giant computers, and present the URLs and short descriptions on search results ists when people enter those particular words or phrases into the Google search engine.

A search engine can’t read video because video is moving at 30 frames per second. Therefore, video-only is not found by search engines. That’s why NNN.TV gives you an HTML web page of text and stills, with your video embedded into it. Google reads and indexes the text and pictures, and thus the video site shows on results lists.

Google gives higher prominence to web pages that are at the top domain level, as contrasted to pages buried within a domain. That’s why NNN.TV creates a special top level Internet domain just for you (a unique ‘www’), because Google gives great importance (page rank) to the top web page in the domain. This gives you higher page rank. Because page rank is not diluted among many pages, you get listed higher in search results.

Can viewers get print-outs?

Yes, and this is the second reason why you need a second website: so people can print hard copy.

You can’t print a video on paper, but you can print a simple web page (your second website). Often, prospects are not in a position to contact you the moment they learn about you,

What if I need to make changes?

If you change your product, service or operation, your video can be updated for a labor charge of $85 per hour, one hour minimum, plus $25 for a new DVD if needed.

Because everything is done on desktop, changes can can usually be made to the video and website, and reflected throughout the system, in less than an hour.

Why only a minute? Can it be longer?

No matter how good the video, you will lose a lot of good prospects if it’s too long. People are busy and have short attention spans.

A first introduction to your company, product or service should not take more than a minute.

In effect, your video is your electronic elevator pitch. The concepts and time constraints they teach you about elevator pitch in sales training should be incorporated into your video.

If you must make your video longer than a minute, or if you want to customize the contact information and URLs for individual sales people, NNN.TV can make alterations for $85/hour labor charge.

How does video fit into my overall marketing program?

Marketing is usually a three-step process: (1) Inform prospects with a teaser message, driving them to your website, phone and email for more information, (2) Give them detail and answer their questions, and (3) Transact the sale.

It’s like a funnel: the more you put in Step 1, and more you get in Step 3.

NNN.TV helps with Step 1 by using search engines, websites and email to tell your story to prospects who otherwise would not know about you.

Your video creates awareness, arouses interest, builds trust and generates inquiries.

Prospects like online video better than a phone call or letter, because it’s fast, efficient, non-intrusive and can be easily passed along to associates.

Your video is marketing automation, reaching more people and cutting labor costs at the same time.

I but they want something on paper, clean and neat, to remind them to contact you later. They just click the print button to get your key points and contact information, rolling out of their desktop printer.

n the Oak Ridge example used here, it’s the difference between what happens when you click the Internet video (top of page) and when you click the second website (left column). One is printable, the other is not.

You decide when and where you want to use either the video-only version or the video-and-text version. Each has a unique URL.

Will I get better exposure in search results?

Yes, and this is the third reason why you need a second website: so you get two listings in search results.

This makes you look bigger and more successful than your competition and increases the probability that a prospect will click on one or the other, or both, of the listings.

Your objective is to be as high on the results page as possible, and to consume as much space on the page as possible. The more your name shows up in Google’s computers, the more important Google thinks you are, and therefore more worthy to be listed higher.

Will audio-visual give stronger impact?

Yes, the fourth reason why you need a second website: so you achieve maximum attention, comprehension and retention.

Studies show that, on average, people remember approximately 10% of what they read, 20% of what they hear, 25% of what they watch, and 35% of what they read, hear and watch.

On your second website, prospects can read-hear-watch, all at the same time. Because your message is clear and concise, you get maximum impact in that critical minute of time ... a desire to make contact .

That’s why your second website may be more suitable than your main site for first introductions and email blasts. Unless interest is aroused first, prospects can get confused or overwhelmed at the main site, and click out without really understanding what’s there. Voice and movement are excellent for creating interest, focusing attention and arousing desire.

Is cross-linking important?

Yes, the fifth reason why you need a second website: so you get more links for web spiders and robots to crawl.

Unless you use paid search (as Google AdWords, see next Q&A section), the primary way search engines know about you, and characterize and rate you, is by crawling links to and from your main site and other sites, and noting how often the links are clicked.

The second site gives you another web presence, served from another domain and server, with cross links between, so Google regards you more important (higher in the results list) than most of your competitors who have just one web presence and few, if any, incoming links.
